CALLDSCO / FAQ
What size bearings do I need?
Most standard skateboard setups use 608-size bearings. Longboards, roller skates and unusual equipment can vary, so check your wheel or equipment details before ordering. Then compare the number of bearing positions you need with the pack count on the product page.
What does ABEC mean?
ABEC is an industrial tolerance classification, not a complete score for skateboard speed or suitability. A higher number does not, on its own, tell you how a bearing will feel in your setup. Materials, shields, lubrication, installation and maintenance also matter. Compare the details on the product pages, or read our ABEC 5 vs ABEC 7 guide.
Should I choose built-in bearings?
The DSCO Built-In product listing specifies built-in spacers. That is the defining listed difference from a conventional set; check the product page for the rest of its contents. If you want to understand how spacers sit in a wheel, read the built-in bearings guide.
How do I check what comes in a set?
Contents vary by DSCO set. The product pages list details such as shields, spacers and other included parts; do not assume an accessory is included just because another set has it. Check the current product description before ordering, especially if you need a particular component for your setup.
How do I clean my bearings?
Remove visible dirt, use a skate-safe cleaner, let the bearings dry fully, then add a small amount of suitable lubricant. Water is not a lubricant. If a bearing remains rough, damaged or unsafe after cleaning, replace it.
Which bearings are best for wet weather?
The DSCO All Weather listing describes stainless-steel balls and races as rust-resistant, and also lists removable rubber shields. It does not describe the set as waterproof. Dry and inspect your setup after damp conditions, and follow the bearing care guide.
How many bearings do I need?
A standard four-wheel skateboard commonly uses eight bearings, while setups with more wheels need more. Compare your wheel count with the number of individual bearings listed for the set: most DSCO sets are eight, and the Hybrid 16 Pack is listed as sixteen. Check the product page before ordering.
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes. Visit the wholesale page or contact DSCO with your shop, location and the range you are interested in.
Need help choosing?
The bearing guide compares published pack counts and features; it does not make a personalised compatibility recommendation. If you are unsure whether a set suits your wheels or hardware, send DSCO a setup question before ordering.
