A new bearing may feel slightly different after installation as lubricant spreads and the parts settle into normal use. This does not mean it needs a long or dramatic break-in process.
Start with a check
Spin each wheel, listen for unusual noise and confirm the axle nuts are correctly tightened. A few gentle minutes of riding is enough to confirm the setup.
Do not force it
If a new bearing feels rough or binds, check alignment and installation rather than trying to ride through the problem.
